About me

I graduated as a zoologist and have since been catapulted into the world of conservation. After being attached to an assortment of research projects, I eventually drifted towards marine conservation. Of particular interest to me are sharks. Whilst working in the Maldives in 2008 I co-founded a whale shark monitoring project, and I continue to be involved with shark conservation throughout the archipelago.

I now work for a fisheries consultancy in London which produces independent advice to governments and private companies on the sustainable use of natural resources.
